I began my journey into acupuncture after witnessing how much it helped my daughter Karli. I am thankful for all that I learned through her experiences and recovery as it prepared me to be able to more fully help my second daughter, Jaymie, during her health crisis a few years later.
Often times our greatest learning comes from the most challenging times, as our deepest growth blossoms when we are outside of our comfort zone. I have walked alongside all three of my daughters as they journey with Lyme disease among other co-infections, which allows us the opportunity to continue to learn and grow. We want to offer hope and healing to others and believe in the power of miracles! I am passionate about extending encouragement, truth, and love to others who may find themselves hopeless in their situations.
I enjoy hiking, spending time with my family, being a grandma, traveling, and reading.

My medical background originally began in the Western medical field and I have had the opportunity to gather knowledge through working at hospitals locally and in foreign countries. I have a desire to bridge the gap between the East and the West philosophies of medicine to bring about a deeper level of healing and wholeness.
Fourteen years ago I was paralyzed from the neck down due to a traumatic brain injury resulting from chemical poisoning and Lyme/co-infections. The doctors told me I would never walk again. During this time I discovered acupuncture and the amazing benefits it has to offer. God utilized acupuncture as a transformational part in my recovery and that is what inspired me to switch from nursing school to East Asian medicine training. I am thankful to be apart of a profession that incorporates lifelong learning!
When I am not working I enjoy spending time in nature with my husband and two daughters (both of whom have a rare and life-threatening genetic disorder).
Sunshine, saltwater, and sand have been some of the biggest healing contributions in my life and you will find me there any chance I get.

Ten years ago I was in a coma due to a traumatic brain injury and acupuncture has been my primary mode of healing that opened me up to new experiences and changed the course of my life direction. God provided transformational healing in my life through the form of acupuncture, massage, physical therapy, and craniosacral therapy, among other modalities that were extremely impactful in my recovery process. These experiences are what have shaped my journey into massage and craniosacral therapy with future goals of attaining certification as a physical therapy assistant. I have witnessed the peace and healing of heaven and offer that to my patients through hands on body and energy work.
My biggest blessing and joy is my two year-old daughter whom I continue to learn from and be amazed by watching life through her perspective.
